The new BiggerChat is a Flash-based chat server and is not compatible with IRC client applications. However, the old IRC-based chat room is still available for your use.

The old IRC chat server will remain available while citizens transition to the new chat room.

Instructions and credentials to connect via stand-alone IRC applications can be found here. The Java chat clients and technical support for IRC problems are no longer available.
